After testing SO MANY balms on the market and never finding one that contained ALL the ingredients I wanted to soothe my rosacea-prone (redness, dryness, itchiness...) I decided to create my own.
The Calendula Balm with Rose EOS is deeply nourishing and calming to inflamed skin.
I added a few drops of PURE Rose essential oil (even though it is THE MOST EXPENSIVE essential oil on the market!) because Rose is the Queen of flowers with powerful healing properties.
I chose the ingredients intentionally as I wanted you to experience the ULTIMATE in balms (not all balms are made equal) and treat your skin to the best, most active botanicals.
The carrier oils were infused with Calendula (grown in my garden!) for over 6 months for maximum potency.
Made with *jojoba oil, *camellia oil, *safflower oil, *rosehip oil, *shea butter, *mango butter, *cupuacu butter, and *beeswax. I also added a few drops of pure rose and Helichrysum italicum essential oils. *Organic
I chose to infuse Calendula flowers in these particular carrier oils (as opposed to olive oil which is what you usually find on the market) to maximize the healing properties of the Calendula Balm, specifically for sensitive, rosacea-prone skin.
Besides being a potent rejuvenating plant, Calendula officionalis has antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties. Calendula is a wound healer that helps repair cuts, breakouts, or inflamed skin.
Calendula flowers contain five powerful healing compounds: Oleanic Acid, Lupeol, Quercetin, α Amyrin, and β Amyrin. These compounds have been shown to provide antioxidant protection, soothe inflamed skin, and reduce itchiness.
The Calendula Balm also contains PURE Rose and Helichrysum italycum essential oils; both contain powerful healing properties for the skin and also the emotional body.
Helichrysum italycum essential oil
Helichrysum is highly regenerating, healing, and hydrating. It’s gentle on sensitive skin yet powerful enough to tackle tenacious breakouts, acne, dilated pores, circles under the eyes, even cellulite and stretch marks. Helichrysum essential oil is known to soothe inflamed skin, hives, redness, scars, blemishes and rashes.
Known as the "Queen of Oils," Rose oil is highly sought after for its aroma and powerful topical and emotional benefits. The blooming floral aroma is comforting and Rose oil, used topically, helps promote healthy-looking skin.
HOW TO USE THE BALM:
