I have rosacea, how long will it take to see results?

While customers report fast relief using our botanical skincare, our products do not claim to "treat" rosacea but to support the skin barrier making it stronger and more resilient.

A healthier skin barrier = less inflammation and reaction to pathogens.

Our products are meant to support your skin while you are doing the inner healing work getting to the root causes of rosacea.

I have Demodex mites, how long will it take to see improvements?

Eradicating Demodex mites is not an overnight process. While customers report fast relief using the system, give yourself 2 to 3 months of consistent use for best results.A Holistic approach addressing the root cause of rosacea and Demodex mites will yield maximum results. 

Please do not despair, it takes time to rebalance your skin microbiome.

Once your skin is clear again, I suggest continuing using the system to maintain a healthy skin barrier.

Yes. Journey to Glow was born out of a personal journey of healing rosacea holistically. Many of our core formulas are specifically created to support:

We use soothing, anti-inflammatory botanicals such as calendula, chamomile, rose, plantain, sweet clover, sea buckthorn and others known in herbalism to calm the look of redness and support barrier repair—without stripping or irritating the skin.

How should I store my Journey to Glow products and how long do they last?

For maximum freshness and potency:

  • Store your products away from direct sunlight and heat.
  • Keep lids and droppers tightly closed.
  • Avoid introducing water into oil-only products.

Although your well stores products will last 12 months, we suggest using them within 6 months for optimum freshness and potency.

How long are my products good for?

Your products should be used within 6 months for maximum plant potency.

*Bottles that are half full (therefore contain more air) and are unused for months will eventually go rancid.

So we suggest using your product consistently and store it in a cool, dry, and dark place to keep your product fresh.

Are your products safe for very sensitive, reactive or barrier-damaged skin?

Yes. Journey to Glow is formulated with sensitive and reactive skin in mind.

We focus on:

  • Gentle, non-stripping formulas (no harsh foaming agents, no aggressive peels)
  • Plant oils and extracts that are known to support barrier repair
  • Minimal, thoughtful essential oil use—or essential-oil-free options, depending on the product
  • Avoiding common irritants found in conventional skincare

Are Journey to Glow products “clean” and non-toxic?

Yes. Our approach to “clean beauty” is grounded, transparent and evidence-informed.

We do not use:

  • Synthetic fragrance or undisclosed “parfum”
  • SLS/SLES and harsh sulfates
  • Mineral oil, petrolatum or drying alcohols
  • Formaldehyde-releasing preservatives
  • Synthetic dyes

We do focus on:

  • Organic, wildcrafted or responsibly grown plant oils, butters and extracts
  • Gentle, Ecocert/COSMOS-accepted preservatives when needed for safety

Are your products natural or organic?

We use primarily natural and organic botanical ingredients and list INCI names clearly on each product page so you know exactly what you’re putting on your skin.

  • Whole-plant extracts, macerations and infusions to capture the full spectrum of plant benefits

Because we source from multiple small growers and suppliers, not every single ingredient is certified organic on paper, but we always aim for the cleanest, most vibrant, high-quality ingredients possible.

Are Journey to Glow products fragrance-free?

We never use synthetic fragrance.

Some formulas are essential-oil-free and are suitable for those who need or prefer no added scent. Others are delicately scented with pure essential oils used in low, skin-friendly dilutions.

On each product page, you’ll find:

  • Whether the product is essential-oil-free
  • Which essential oils are used
  • The aromatic profile (for example, soft floral, herbaceous, resinous)

If you are extremely sensitive to scent, we recommend starting with our essential-oil-free or very minimally scented options.

Are your products tested on animals? Are they vegan?

We never test our products on animals.

Many of our formulas are vegan. When we do use an animal-derived ingredient, it is typically:

Can I use your products if I’m already on prescription treatments for rosacea?

Many of our clients use Journey to Glow skincare alongside prescription treatments prescribed by their dermatologist or physician.

Because everyone’s skin and protocol is different, we recommend:

  • Checking in with your practitioner before introducing new products
  • Patch-testing first and introducing one product at a time
  • Using the gentlest, barrier-supportive formulas to counterbalance any dryness or irritation from prescriptions

Are your products safe to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Many of our ingredients are gentle and plant-based, but pregnancy and breastfeeding require an extra level of caution, especially with essential oils and certain herbs.

We ship aim to prepare and ship within 2-3 business days of receiving your order.

However, because of the artisan nature and small size of our business, we can experience shipping delays, especially around holidays or in winter where snow storms can shut everything down.

Which shipping carrier do you use?

We ship with Canada Post within Canada and USPS to the USA.

Shipping to the United States

We ship from Quebec, Canada via Canada Post. Once your package arrives at the border it is handled by USPS.

You may be required to pay additional fees, duties or taxes. These are your responsibility as a consumer.

You will receive a tracking number by email. please check your SPAM or OTHER folder.

Shipping within Canada, Canadian Sales Taxes + Selecting Your Currency

We ship fro Quebec, Canada via Canada Post. You will receive a tracking number by email. please check your SPAM or OTHER folder.

Can I track my order?

Once you've placed your order, you'll receive a confirmation email with your tracking number. Expect a separate email with tracking information as soon as your package ships.

If you don't not see a shipping confirmation in your inbox, please check your SPAM.

Tracking: Once the carrier scans your package, the estimated delivery date will adjust accordingly.

Can you cancel or change my order?

Any cancellation requests on orders that have been processed will be charged a $25 restocking fee.

If your order has been shipped it cannot be canceled or changed.

What kind of packaging do you use?

We only use high-quality glass for our bottles and jars. Please consider re-using the containers before recycling, giving another life is better than recycling which still consumes energy.

When shipping your botanical goodies we use recycled, recyclable and compostable material as much as possible.

Take our packing peanuts for example: they are compostable and will dissolve in water.

If your products happen to be wrapped in bubble plastic, it's because we're reusing packaging instead of throwing it away (some plastic packaging cannot be recycled).

Consider re-using the packaging as well!
